Church Recreation Leadership Training and Resource Center of Ideas

It is time to make specific plans.

  1. Make a folder for each activity or program and begin making a list of ideas, needs and leadership for each one.
  2. Make a list of the benefits you want to achieve by using this program.
  3. Next, outline your planning procedure including location, equipment, supplies, decorations, menu, invitations and promotion, personnel and committees.
  4. Develop a planning calendar for each phase of your plan.
  5. Choose the people that will help you develop these plans
  6. Write job descriptions for each specific job
  7. Make assignments for specific jobs
  8. Make sure that everyone knows what is expected of them
  9. Provide the materials necessary to fulfill their assignment successfully.
  10. Meet regularly and review the progress made, the scheduled dates of accomplishment, the things to do list and the materials and supplies that will be needed.
  11. Talk with the chairman of each activity committee weekly to determine how you can help with the process.
