The Youthrec Scholarship Program requires effort on your part.    If you are comfortable dealing with money and know how to talk to people about it you can accomplish this by yourself.  I do not recommend this because it is more effective as a group.  

Make sure you have gone through the Virtual Training Course and completed "writing your Mission Statement" for your youth group.  You will need to have this to complete the next step.   
 
Find 5 people in your group to be on the finance committee of your youth group.  These can be youth and adults.  I recommend at least one adult, preferably the most financially astute member you can find.  Remember we are growing your youth group so enlist quality people to help you.  

Set up a meeting with your Finance Committee.  Find a place where you can meet for at least 30 minutes.  Maintain order by finding a place away from ANYand ALL distractions.  This is important.  Youthrec is asking you to do this first before considering giving you the course for free.
 
We know you can raise the money and it will be worth more to you and your youth group because you earned it. 

Sorry we did not create this scenario it is just a proven fact. 

Make a list of 10 of the most affluent people or successful business owners that you know who will have an interest in the growth of your youth group.  You are looking for a Youthrec Sponsor for your group from this List.  Talk with the group and determine who to see first, second, third, etc. 

Put phone numbers with the names on the list.  Now the fun part is deciding who in the group has the ability to call and present these people with the need for this program.  There is someone in your group that is not intimidated when talking with people.  Get them involved in your mission to help you find the money.  Use the talents of your group for each step in our process.
 
You can start by showing your potential Youthrec Sponsor, The Youthrec.com web site and linking him/her to the Youthrec 101 Leadership Training Course and Manual and explaining to them the need for the training which is offered in Youthrec 101. 

Please know that Youthrec has your back.  If after you have taken the Virtual Training Course, become a member of the Email Basics Training and followed the money raising steps in the Youthrec Scholarship requirements you can not raise the money then the Youthrec Scholarship Program will supply you with Youthrec 101 for FREE !!  

Let's Face it. 

You will be a stronger recipient when we get you started after going through these steps.  If we can teach you how to raise money by learning this first money raising lesson, then you will already be on the road to achieving quality results.  We have many more fund raising methods but you have to start Youthrec 101 first. 

This is a proven method to acquire the $289.00 to get started. 

We need to charge for Youthrec 101 for several reasons. 

The first reason is we reinvest all our profits back into Youthrec.  We use it to further develop and add to our training material so additional youth leaders can grow future disciples for Christ.  

The second reason is you will be stronger.  After you gain the experience from this one method of acquiring the financing, then you will be able to use it to raise money for other needs in your youth group.  More finances will allow you to have a lasting and stronger participating youth group.  

The third reason is you will have started Youthrec 101 and started a great future in increasing participation through proven methods of organization and implementation.  

The fourth reason is the Youthrec Scholarship Program will allow someone who was unable raise the money using the steps outlined in The Scholarship Program.

      All you have to do is go do it.  As Nike says, "Just Do IT.  Talk to the 10 people on your list until one of them purchases Youthrec 101 for you to use in your program.  Later we will show you how to thank them by showing them an excited and exuberant youth group that leads other youth to Christ.  I have many friends that purchase this program for their youth group to use.
