Parties

A party is a social event usually featuring a theme, decorations, games, and refreshments. The goal of having a party is to have fun and involve everyone in varied activities.  Most parties usually involve one to two hours, but this varies greatly according to interest and age of the group.A party can be held almost anywhere: in a home, at a church, at a restaurant, at an outdoor location, or at a public facility

Banquets

Banquets rate high in popularity as a way to plan for people to gather socially. Who can resist the lure of tasty food and pleasant companionship?   More than any other similar function, banquets seem to satisfy some deep instinct in man as a social being.   Even the President of the United States plans a banquet when he wants to honor a visiting dignitary.

What makes a good banquet? Is it the food? Is it the place? Or is it the speaker? Maybe the people who sit near you and their friendly repartee make the difference. Whatever it is, you know when it's fun "to be at a banquet."

Fellowships

A fellowship is similar to a party. It usually lasts an hour or less; and it is usually held after some event such as after church, after a revival service, after a football or basketball game. Occasionally, it will be held before an event. As with the party, a fellowship can be held almost anywhere--in a home, at a church, in a restaurant, in a park, in backyards, even in a football stadium!
