Have You Considered Using A Ministry Coach"
********************************************************************************************
This coming year I am selecting a few Youth and Recreation Ministers, who, want to put more excitement into their group, see their group grow in number and help those who participate get excited about serving the Lord Jesus Christ, to be a part of trial program of using a personal coach.
Do you think that two experienced minds would be more effective in planning a youth program than just one?
You know your group and what you want to accomplish this year and I know of many resources, that have been successfully used in the past by many very successful youth and recreation ministers, that are no longer in print or easily accessible.
Together we will be able to identify your ministry goals and use some of the tools that are available to you that you may or may not be aware of their availability.
If you are willing to use me as your personal coach and allow me to point you to tools that will help you increase the number of youth in your programs and make your ministry more effective this year, I will volunteer my time to assist you.
This would involve:
- Choosing to use me as your personal coach to work with you in reaching your goals this year.
- Talking with me each week at my expense. All phone calls will originate on my phone and all charges will be paid by me. If you use Skype we may at times communicate facing each other on the net
- Agreeing to follow the plans that we make together in detail and asking for my assistance when a challenge comes up.
- Setting your goals for your Ministry and following my suggestions on using them.
- f you are not already using the virtual world to communicate with those who participate in your ministry, you will want to become “Virtual” and include the children and their parents, the youth and their parents and the adults that participate in your ministry in your “Virtual World”. More specific information will be given as you progress in your plans
- Reading certain books that will help formulate success principles that will mold your thinking process and assist you in making your ministry more effective.
Why am I willing to spend my time and money in coaching you in your making your ministry plans?
Simple
We have been given the funds that will allow me to do this at no cost to you or your Church. My time and service will be free. The only cost to you would come from purchasing some suggested books and any virtual tools that you may choose to purchase.
For over 40 years my life has been spent organizing leading children, youth and adults recreation ministries, sharing the principles and activities that I use, with fellow youth and recreation leaders through conferences and personal meetings.
As I seek to share, through the internet, the ideas, methods and activities that proved to be most effective in the youth and recreation ministries that I had the privilege of leading, I want to fine tune the system of using the internet to share these ideas so that they can help other youth and recreation ministers, worldwide.
If you and I can use these principles to increase the number of participants in your ministry and help them beome more commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, then, others should be able to follow those examples and use them to make their ministry more effective.
If you would be willing to participate in this venture answer me at artharris@youthrec.com, giving me your mailing address, your phone number, a good time to contact you by phone, the best email address to use and the name of your church.
God bless you and may this be your greatest year in your service for the Lord Jesus Christ.
My goal in life is to help others become more committed to the Lord Jesus Christ and to give them principles that they can carry with them throughout their life.
What is your goal in life?
How are you going about fulfilling that goal?
